Deletion is permanent
Deleting the RoadTab app from your device does not delete your RoadTab account. Use the request method on this page if you want your account and associated data permanently deleted, including if you can no longer access the app.
Before requesting deletion: Save anything you want to keep. Deleted trips, vehicles, photos, preferences, and account records cannot be restored. If you have an active store subscription, cancel it separately in Google Play or the App Store; deleting your RoadTab account does not control subscriptions managed by those stores.
Request account deletion
Send the request from the email address connected to your RoadTab account. This helps us identify the correct account and protect it from unauthorized deletion.
Open the request email
Use the button below. The subject and the information we need are already included.
Confirm the account
Send it from your RoadTab account email. We may reply with a limited verification step before acting on the request.
Receive confirmation
We will reply when the request has been reviewed and again when account deletion is complete.
Ready to send your request? The email opens with a prepared subject and checklist. You can also write directly to [email protected].
Create deletion requestNever send your password, one-time code, or recovery code. RoadTab will not ask you to include these in an account deletion request.
What the request covers
Once your identity and account are verified, RoadTab deletes account-linked data that is not subject to a legitimate retention need.
Account and profile
Your RoadTab account record, email address, provided name, authentication link, and saved app preferences.
Vehicles and photos
Vehicle details and vehicle photos stored for your RoadTab account.
Trips and saved places
Saved trips, locations, coordinates, selected routes, dates, estimates, spending summaries, and eligible fuel-stop plans.
Sharing records
RoadTab share-link records associated with your trips. Copies that another person already saved are outside RoadTab’s control.
What may remain
RoadTab does not keep deleted account data for continued use. Limited information may remain only where needed for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.
Operational records and backups
Deletion correspondence, a minimal record that the request was completed, technical logs, or backup copies may remain while the relevant security, legal, or backup purpose continues. RoadTab currently has no separate fixed automatic retention period for these limited records. They are not restored to an active account and are deleted or anonymized when the purpose ends.
Unused route-quote cache records are covered by a scheduled cleanup after 30 days without a request. Where a service provider processes account data for RoadTab, deletion is also requested from that provider as applicable.
What happens next
RoadTab may contact you only for information reasonably needed to verify and complete the request. You will receive a response about its status. If a legal reason prevents deletion of a limited record, the response will explain the affected information and reason where permitted.
Deleting your RoadTab account does not delete a separate Google or Apple account used to sign in. You can also remove individual trips, vehicles, saved places, or share links inside the app without deleting your whole account. For a data-specific request that is not available in the app, use the same email pathway and state what you want removed.
